Action against Shri D.K. Singh, A.S.A.M., Gwalior Museum

To
The Director General
Archaeological Survey of India
Janpath, New Delhi-110 011.

Sub: Stern action against Shri D.K. Singh, A.S.A.M., Gwalior Museum –
Immediate attention - requested.
Ref: This Association Lr. No. ASA/2010-72 dated 11.08.2010.
Sir,
With refernce to the letter cited above wherein a resolution passed by the entire session of CWC of ASWA at Goa strongly condemning the vindicative and callous attitude adopted by one Shri D.K. Singh, A.S.A.M. working at Gwalior Museum was sent to you for initiating stern action within one month in the interest of justice and equity as also directed the Secretary General and President to take up necessary action in the matter if no action is taken by the Directorate within the scheduled time to get their demands fulfilled .

In this connection, I write to inform you that accordingly as per the decision of CWC of Goa, this Association has sent the resolution to take necessary action as deemed fit against the official within one month. It is very much regrettable to note that no positive action has been initiated from your end within the scheduled date, due to which the members across the country in general and Bhopal/Gwalior Units in particular have become very much frustrated and gradually loosing confidence in the present administration of ASA. On the other hand, since no action has been taken by your end, the atrocities of Sri D.K. Singh, A.S.A.M. has been considerably increased thereby our members at Gwalior are not having mental peace and peaceful working atmosphere in attending to their regular official works. This is a very shameful act of Sri D.K. Singh which has been strongly protested and condemned by this Association once again. The entire members are pressing hard to take a direct action in this regard.
This Association is having due regard and immense faith in your benign administration and I am very much sure that you will understand the gravity of the situation and once again request you to kindly arrange to take necessary action against Sri D.K. Singh without any further lapse of time and the action taken by you may please be informed to this Association. In case, no concrete decision is taken by your end within 15 days of receipt of this letter, this Association is having no option and very much compelled to stage Dharna in front of Archaeological Museum, Gwalior in the first instance as a part of our legitimate demands fulfilled.

Expecting an early, favourable and positive action at your kind end in the interest of a smooth, amicable and peaceful official performance of duty at Gwalior by our beloved members.

Yours faithfully,
